SPEAKER: Erike Young
Erike, MPPA, CSP, ARM, is currently the Director of Environment, Health, and Safety, Office of the President at the University of California. He is responsible for providing system-wide direction, coordination, and assistance to the campuses, hospitals and national laboratories in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures and programs necessary to maintain a safe and healthy environment for faculty, staff, students, patients and all UC visitors. In his spare time, he also serves as a School board Member at Rescue Union School District, as well as the owner and facilitator at the ARM Study Group.
In the past, Erike has served as a Senior Consultant with Bickmore Risk Services, where he primarily worked with public sector organizations to establish an effective safety culture by integrating environmental and safety management into their operations. He has also served as the Chapter President, American Society of Safety Engineers.
